I find that my students love using the Ipads in our classroom. We watch videos, conduct research, practice spelling words, etc.
There is something very unique about the tactile abilities of electronic touch tablets that just draw children in. I've handed an ipad to a new student fresh off the boat from Mexico, so to speak, and within minutes they're swiping and maneuvering through apps like a pro. It's really a cool thing to witness.
